Lone Star Smockers is a chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America (SAGA). The purpose of our guild is to establish high standards of quality workmanship and to further the appreciation of the smocking arts and other associated handwork through education, teaching, and communication. We hope you find this web site helpful to you.
New members need to create a hand-made badge to wear to all meetings and functions. The design is up to you. Many guild members have similar badges. The finished dimensions are 5 – 3/4″ x 3 – 1/4″, this includes the 1/4″ fringe around the edge. Fold is 1 – 1/2″ total (includes the fringe). A sample badge is pictured below (not actual size).
